2. What exactly does it mean for your website to be in both English and CJKV?
It means our website can be easily navigated by non-CJKV as well as CJKV readers. Our in-house editors review, read and write English descriptions for our books and materials to help you make good selections for your patrons. For title names, in addition to CJKV, we also provide transliterated title names and the original title of translated books.
We issue monthly newsletters of adult and children new titles. Our entire catalog with 5 languages (Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese,Korean, and Vietnamese) for Adult’s and Children’s, can be accessed online as new titles are being added. 12. How do I use Keyword and Advanced Search?
Our keyword search is convenient to use when you want to find a title by only one search criteria. Enter an exact string in the Keyword Search box to quickly search by a single field (i.e. ISBN, title, author, etc.). Simply enter one search factor and it will pull up the best matches. If you want to use more than one factor, please use advanced search.
The advanced search allows you to be as specific or as vague as you would like. You may enter as much information as you know if you are looking for a specific title, or you can search by just one or two criteria if you are only browsing (i.e. language and age group).
Although the most common way to order is online at www.BooksWindow.com, we also welcome you to send us your orders by fax, mail, e-mail, or phone. Simply refer to our contact information below.
14. What is your web access policy?
Because our website www.Bookswindow.com is designed for public libraries and our content is proprietary, not open source, access to our website is only given to relevant public library staff responsible for collection development, acquisitions, and cataloging, with their official library e-mail address. As anyone can potentially place orders with PO on our website, limiting access protects libraries from unauthorized orders.
